2026 Quilt Show: “Bloomin Crazy for Quilts”
June 19-20, 2026 – The Woodlands Area Quilt Guild, a 501(3)(c) organization, presents “Bloomin Crazy for Quilts” on June 19-20, 2026 at the Lone Star Convention and Expo Center, 9055 Airport Rd, Conroe, Texas, 77303. Hours are 10 am-5 pm on Friday, June 19 and 9 am – 4 pm on Saturday, June 20. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-11. Guests under 6 are free. More than 300 quilts and 40 vendors will be present for your viewing and shopping enjoyment.
The show theme is Sewing Seeds for the Future. A Learn to Sew section will feature Make & Take projects for children and new sewists. The Schoolhouse will feature educational opportunities including techniques for quilt makers.
Kumiko Frydl, an internationally acclaimed, award-winning quilter, speaker and author will be the featured artist. More than 30 of her miniature quilts will be available for viewing. She will conduct a walking tour daily.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Montgomery County Chapter, will receive all funds raised from Minis for Charity, a special booth at the show. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a 501(3)(c)volunteer-run organization. Their mission is “No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town”. They provide beds to children that do not have a bed of their own. Volunteers build and deliver beds, including mattresses, pillows, and bedding for children in their favorite colors and themes. They will accept donations of twin-sized bedding at the show.
