UPDATE: MCTXSheriff Arrests One in Linked Aggravated Robbery Incidents

Update from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on September 27, 2021:

On Sunday, September 26, 2021, at about 6:55 AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a report of an Aggravated Robbery at the Murphy gas station located at 3042 College Park Drive in The Woodlands, Texas. During the investigation, it was learned two black males entered the store and one of them displayed a handgun to the store clerk and demanded money. After taking several items, the suspects left the area in a white Lexus car.

Deputies located the vehicle, and after a pursuit into Houston, one of the suspects was arrested. The arrested male, who is no stranger to the criminal justice system, was identified as a 15-year-old juvenile who resides in Harris County. The juvenile was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center, where he was charged with Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crime Unit are investigating the Aggravated Robbery incidents as well the identity of the second robbery suspect. Additional charges may be filed.

Update from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on September 24, 2021: MCTXSheriff Investigates Aggravated Robbery

The suspects who are believed to have committed an Aggravated Robbery at Walmart on September 23, 2021, in Spring, Texas, are also believed to be responsible for an additional Aggravated Robbery at a Texaco gas station located at 603 Rayford Road in Spring, Texas. The additional robbery occurred on September 24, 2021, at about 4:50 AM. During the investigation, it was learned two black males entered the store and one of them displayed a handgun to the store clerk.

The suspects left the Texaco gas station in a white Lexus ES350 bearing Texas license plate JWS9518, which is reported stolen out of Harris County, Texas, and matches the description of the vehicle from the Walmart incident. The suspect who displayed a handgun to the store clerk in Texaco also matches the description from the Walmart incident.

September 23, 2021: MCTXSheriff Investigates Aggravated Robbery

On Thursday, September 23, 2021, at about 11:35 AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a report of a Robbery at the Walmart store located at 1025 Sawdust Road in Spring, Texas. During the investigation, it was learned a female was placing groceries in her car when she was approached by a black male who displayed a handgun and demanded she hand over her purse. After the male took the female’s purse, he entered a white passenger car, believed to be a Lexus ES350.

The suspect is described as a young black male, possibly 15-19 years old with a slim build. The male has dreadlocks and was wearing a black sweater with green lettering. The driver of the suspect car is described as a young black male.
