April 2024 – Classes and Events at Ardest Gallery – Ardest Gallery, a local fine arts gallery curated by Gallery Director Julie Verville, represents nearly 40, top Texas 2D and 3D visual artists. In addition to its core artists, the gallery will host ongoing events such as monthly group art shows, Coffee Talk with an Artist, Art to Lunch in partnership with local restaurants, poetry readings, musical performances, and art classes/workshops for all ages and skill levels. April 18, 2024 – Montgomery County Go Red for Women Luncheon – Join us at the Montgomery County Go Red for Women on Thursday, April 18 at 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. The Go Red for Women event experience focuses on connection and engagement, fostering an atmosphere of interaction and networking at every turn. We will celebrate the power of women banding together and the joy of spending time with fellow champions of our mission. April 26, 2024 – YMCA Dancing with The Woodlands Stars – Dancing with The Woodlands Stars, presented by Chesmar Homes, is a spin-off of the popular TV show, Dancing with the Stars. The memorable family-friendly night includes a buffet dinner, dancing, special performances, and much more. Each star, and their professional dance partner, will perform their dance live. Vote for your favorite community star and support the YMCA. April 30, 2024 – The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon – Not all heroes wear capes! The C.A.R.E.S. Committee will host the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon recognizing The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s nonprofit organization members for their amazing contributions and impact on our community. April 19-20, 2024 – Recharge: Single Parents Conference – Single parents are invited to Recharge 2024: A Gathering for Single Parents Doing Life on Their Own, April 19-20, in Harvest Worship Center on The Woodlands Campus. April 20, 2024 – Great Texas Birding Classic – The Great Texas Birding Classic is an annual competition held across Texas to determine which team can identify and count the most birds during a specific window of time. This is the biggest birdwatching tournament in the state and for the third year in a row, The Woodlands Township has a registered team! Residents are invited to join the team to help spot and identify birds. New to birding? Township team members will be your guide. Bring a lawn chair and binoculars, or borrow a pair from the Township, and join the watch. All ages are welcome.
