November 5 – The Woodlands Area Business Summit – The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce will host The Woodlands Area Business Summit on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lone Star College System Office – Community Building! The Business Summit will provide access to leading edge corporate resources which enables competitive and productive functioning, while maintaining a healthy business culture for all employees. In addition to hearing from keynote speakers, registrants are offered various topical tracks over the span of four breakout sessions, some of which will afford continuing education credits. Attendance is available both virtually and in-person. Register Today

November 6 – Montgomery County Heart Walk – The Montgomery County Heart Walk is back, and you won’t want to miss it! Join us on Saturday, November 6 at Northshore Park in The Woodlands. The American Heart Association is bringing you a one-of-a-kind experience to join together with friends, family and colleagues to get moving and focusing on improved health, all while helping to defeat heart disease and stroke. The American Heart Association (AHA), the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on ensuring longer, healthier lives for all has named Matt Davis, Chief Executive Officer, HCA Healthcare Conroe, as Chair for the Montgomery County Heart Walk. Davis is charged with stewarding a $400,000 campaign fundraising goal to support the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association. Register Today

November 13 – Furever Homes Model Home Tour & Pet Adoptions – Grand Central Park will spotlight 11 professionally decorated model homes during the “Furever Homes” tour, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, November 13. Start the day with free breakfast and coffee by Blended Coffee Bar & Bakery, bus tours to our model homes, family-fun, prizes, pet vendors and pet adoptions by Friends of Faye. Register Today

November 13 – 3R Recycling Drive-Thru Event – Celebrate America Recycles Day! Free drive-thru recycling of lightbulbs, alkaline batteries, block Styrofoam, textiles, snack and beverage pouches, and eyeglasses. Secure document shredding offered for a suggested donation of $5 or five cans of food. The event takes place at The Woodlands High School Parking Lot from 9 a.m. to noon. Learn More

November 13 – Rockin’ Movie Night featuring Trolls World Tour – Join The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for a rockin’ good time at a movie night under the stars Saturday, November 13 at 7 p.m. Free lawn and mezzanine seating – no tickets required! Families are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite music genre for a screening of Trolls World Tour on the venue’s large LED screens. Tickets for General Admission orchestra seating are $10 each and include unlimited popcorn. Gates will open at 6 p.m. Learn More

November 19-21 – The Junior League Holiday Market – The Junior League Holiday Market will be held on November 19, 20, & 21, 2021 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott and Convention Center! Don’t miss this shopping extravaganza event that features a variety of items from flower arrangements to personalized gifts to holiday ornaments, you can begin your holiday shopping early and even have time left over to buy yourself something special. All proceeds from this event will go directly into the community to support Junior League of The Woodlands programs, benefiting the communities of suburban North Houston. Purchase Tickets

November 25 – 32nd Annual YMCA Run Thru The Woods – The 32nd Annual YMCA Run Thru the Woods is a holiday tradition in The Woodlands on Thanksgiving morning and features a 1 mile kids race, 5 mile run, 3 mile run and 3 mile walk for all ages. The start/finish line and post-race party will be at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Wear your favorite Thanksgiving costume! Strollers are welcomed but please leave your pets at home. Awards include special prize package to the overall top three finishers, male and female, in both the five-mile run and three-mile run. Register Today

November 2021 – Classes and Programs at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center – Canopy is open for classes and programs! Canopy is a cancer survivorship on the campus of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. Canopy is open to men and women, no matter where you were treated, and for any kind of cancer. If your life has been impacted, whether you were the patient or the caregiver, you have a safe haven at Canopy. Learn More

November 2-22 – Montgomery County Food Bank Mobile Markets – Mobile Markets are temporary drive thru distribution centers where pre-packaged bags of groceries will be provided to Montgomery County residents in need, while supplies last. Residents can drive up to the Mobile Market, stay in their car, and MCFB’s partner agencies and trained volunteers will load the groceries safely into their car. Learn more

November 5 – Blueprint Soiree – On November 5 at 6:30pm, join Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County for an elegant evening at the home of Christen and Brad Kaufman in Carlton Woods for the inaugural Blueprint Soiree to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County! Chef Jason Dady will create Italian cuisine that is sure to impress you and your guests! You may have caught Chef Dady on “Beat Bobby Flay” and other hit Food Network shows. Learn More

November 6 –Greater Houston Out of the Darkness Walk – The Greater Houston Out of the Darkness Walk, hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Southeast Texas Chapter, will take place at Town Green Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration is free and open to the public. The event aims to honor loved ones, raise awareness, educate communities, support one another, and share hope.Learn More

November 6 –The Woodlands 33rd Annual Wildflower Festival – The Woodlands 33rd Annual Wildflower Festival is one of the longest running festivals in The Woodlands with a focus on the key aspects of our community, nature and family. This event will be held at Rob Fleming Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in partnership with The Woodlands Township with all proceeds benefiting The Woodlands Lions Club Charities. The highlight of this event is the thousands of wildflower seed packets that are distributed free to the community by generous Seed Sponsors. In addition to the seed packet distribution, the festival has other family friendly activities such as the bluebonnet planting ceremony, wildflower crafts, bounce houses, face painting, DJ, food trucks, and more. November 6-7 –Houston Music & Arts Festival – Come and enjoy major concerts, fine art displays, a classic car show, a custom motorcycle show, and dozens of fun attractions and highlights at the 2021 Houston Music & Arts Festival at the Heritage Place Amphitheater in Conroe. Check out the Taste of Texas Food Garden, with delicious cuisine, and cold domestic and craft beers. National recording artists will be performing throughout the afternoon and evening on the main stage, as well as juried visual artists presenting the heritage and the culture of Conroe. November 11 – WALK THE WALK – 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Solider – The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission, Montgomery County Chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Eastex Detachment #779 Marine Corps League present WALK THE WALK. The 100th Anniversary of the dedication of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in 1921 will be recognized at the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park beginning Nov. 10th at 1100 hours and ending at “a time certain” at 1100 hours, Nov. 11th -Veterans Day in a 24-hour Walk. November 11 – Veterans Day Tribute – The Woodlands Veterans Day Tribute ceremony will feature a presentation of colors, musical performances, remarks by local dignitaries, and more at Town Green Park from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Learn More

November 13 & 14 – Craft Circle 41st Annual Boutique – Looking for a special and unique gift? November 13 – Revival Pop-Up with Experience ELLE – Join Experience ELLE on Saturday, November 13  at 5 p.m. at HeBrews Coffeehouse for an evening encompassing times of worship, prayer, ministering from the Bible, as well as an application of the Word as it relates to education on mental health awareness, suicide awareness, and suicide survivorship. November 18 –The Woodlands North Houston Conference for Women – The Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce is excited to host The Woodlands North Houston Conference for Women on November 18, 2021 at The Woodlands Resort, 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. 2021 WOODLANDS NORTH HOUSTON CONFERENCE FOR WOMEN

November 18 – Market Street in Lights Tree Lighting Event – The community-voted Lighting Luminary will flip the switch 70-foot Christmas tree as part of its “Market Street in Lights” and brings holiday cheer to Market Street on November 18. Nominations are currently being accepted for this year’s “Lighting Luminary” – a special child or deserving family who has overcome incredible odds, made a significant contribution to the community, or perhaps helped someone in need. The community may nominate a child or family no later than October 22.Learn More

November 19 – The Woodlands Ice Rink opens – Glide into the magic of the holiday season at The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center. Enjoy indoor ice skating at the 21,000 square-foot facility, located at the intersection of Six Pines and Lake Robbins, next to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The season begins Friday, November 19, 2021 until January 17, 2022. Learn More

November 19 – Light It Up! City of Tomball’s Christmas Tree Lighting – Kick off the holiday season at the downtown Depot Plaza as we light the City’s giant Christmas tree. Live music, hot chocolate and snacks, and of course there’s Santa, Mrs. Claus and everybody’s favorite Elf, Buddy to meet with the kids and pose for photos.Learn More

November 20 – 39th Annual Lighting of the Doves – The Lighting of the Doves festival is a long-standing tradition in The WoodIands that signifies the start of the holiday season in the community. Symbolizing peace during the holidays, the ceremonial illumination of the giant doves has attracted thousands of visitors each year. The Festival includes traditional and international performances, showcasing the cultural diversity of The Woodlands and holiday traditions celebrated around the world. Featuring snow play areas, vendor booths, children’s activities and strolling entertainment, Lighting of the Doves culminates with a special appearance by Santa Claus arriving by sleigh down The Woodlands Waterway and a dazzling fireworks display. November 26-28 –The Woodlands Nutcracker by Vitacca Vocational School for Dance – The Woodlands Nutcracker is presented by Vitacca Vocational School for Dance will be held November 26-28 at The Woodlands Resort. The Nutcracker is a dazzling holiday tradition for children and adults of all ages. Bring your family and friends on Clara’s magical journey from her Victorian-era home on Christmas Eve into the Land of Snow and Kingdom of Sweets. Tickets go on sale October 23. Learn More

November 29 – Light Up The Pines Celebration – A traditional tree lighting will be the star attraction the Light Up the Pines celebration hosted by Woodforest from 5 to 7 p.m. The holiday kickoff event takes place at Pine Market, 2295 Woodforest Parkway North in Woodforest. Visitors will enjoy free hot cocoa, music and fire-juggling elves before the lighting of a 30-foot tree topped with a 4-foot star. There will also be ornaments to take home while supplies last. Learn More

November 30 – City of Shenandoah’s Lighting of the Angels – The City of Shenandoah celebrates the start of the holiday season with the 24th Annual Lighting of the Angels. Enjoy family-friendly entertainment that will include animal rides, music, performances and an ice slide following the lighting of the iconic angels in the city. Santa also makes an appearance at this annual favorite.Learn More

November 30 – Giving Tuesday – Make a donation and pledge to get involved in a local nonprofit organization! Support Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, American Heart Association, and learn about more nonprofit organizations in Montgomery County by watching our “Nonprofit of the Month” video interviews here.
