VARSITY TRACK & FIELD
On April 6, 2024, Varsity Track & Field Team hosted the Cooper Dragon Invitational.
Results: John Cooper Invitational – Boys Champion
- Boys 4×100 Relay – 1st Place

- Boys 4×400 Relay – 1st Place (3:30.10)

On April 4, The John Cooper School Varsity Baseball team played the Tomball Kings. (10-5 L)

VARSITY SOFTBALL
On April 3, The John Cooper School Varsity Softball team played St. John’s* (7-3 L).
Coach Nicole Hedden shared, “Even though we collected five hits to their four, they still fell 7-3. Daniela Villarreal led the Dragons with two hits. Dragon Cameron Patterson pitched seven innings, surrendering seven runs (zero earned) on four hits, striking out six and walking five. Villarreal drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Dragons with two runs batted in. The catcher went two-for-three on the day. The Dragons turned one double-play on the game.”
On April 4, The John Cooper School Varsity Softball team played at Concordia (7-6 L).
Coach Nicole Hedden said, “Unfortunately we lost despite outhitting the Crusaders. Cameron Patterson led the Dragons with three hits. Daniela Villarreal drove in four runners. The three-hole hitter went two-four on the day. The Dragons scored two runs in the top of the fifth on a home run to center field by Villarreal after a seven-pitch at-bat. Patterson pitched six innings, giving up seven runs (three earned) on seven hits, striking out 11 and walking seven. Sydney Kelly collected two hits and Villarreal stole two bases.”
