Gas Leak at 242/College Park and Windsor Hills intersection
The Woodlands Township shared the following alert on April 25, 2024 at 1:18 p.m.: The Woodlands Fire Department’s Hazmat Team, alongside Centerpoint, is currently responding to a significant gas line rupture at the intersection of 242/College Park and Windsor Hills. Traffic in the Windsor Hills neighborhood is being redirected through the Volare Apartments, while 242 Westbound is restricted to one lane. Expect traffic delays. We will update this page once the intersection has reopened. It’s advisable to steer clear of the area if possible.
The Woodlands Fire Department shared the following update on April 25, 2024 at 12:35 p.m.: TWFD Hazmat Team and Centerpoint are on scene of a large hit gas line at the intersection of 242/College Park and Windsor Hills. The Windsor Hills neighborhood traffic is being routed through the Volare Apartments 242 Westbound is down to one lane as well. Avoid the area if possible.
