Memorial Hermann celebrates Graduating Junior Volunteers

By  |

Recently, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center held a reception for its graduating Junior Volunteers. There, hospital leadership recognized 20 graduating high school seniors that have volunteered weekly at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands since spring of their sophomore year. Twenty college scholarships were awarded from the Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Auxiliary totaling $30,000. These student volunteers, representing public and private schools as well as home-schooling, each completed an application for their scholarship with three questions answered. Scholarship amounts varied from $750 to $4,000 per volunteer.
