Traffic Alert: Loose Cattle near I-45 under Hardy Toll Road

UPDATE 3/24/25 3pm: Multiple Specialists from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Livestock Unit, Patrol Units, Multiple Harris County Agencies, and Texas DPS Troopers responded to upwards of 30 head of cattle being loose near I-45 and the Hardy Toll Road. Units worked all afternoon to rope, dart, and corral all the cattle and contain them safely. It appears these cattle escaped from a trailer they were being transported in.

Please be aware that cattle are on the I-45 northbound main lanes just under the Hardy toll road. Drive with caution in and around this area.
