Children’s Memorial Hermann IRONKIDS Texas Fun Run & Doggie Dash held at Town Green Park
The 2025 Children’s Memorial Hermann IRONKIDS Texas Fun Run & Doggie Dash event took place at Town Green Park in The Woodlands on Saturday, April 19. The event was open to children and teens ages 1 to 17.

The event began at 8:30 a.m. with the opening of village family-friendly booths and activities. Opening ceremonies and the warm-up started at 9:30 a.m. with the children’s races at 10 a.m. and dog events at 11 a.m.
The IRONKIDS Fun Run offers young athletes the opportunity to feel the excitement of competition while enjoying the outdoors and promoting healthy living.
The races included Diaper Dash (26.2 ft. for under 2 years), Toddler Dot Trot (80 ft. for independent walkers, ages 1-3 years, Half mile (ages 3-8 years), Mile (ages 5-17 years), and the Doggie Dash – half mile and mile.
In addition to the race events, the park also had fun activities for families of all ages, including mingling with mascots, snow cones, photo opportunities, pet vendors, an obstacle course, various games, face painting, crafts, and pediatric ambulance tours.
