The Woodlands Chamber’s C.A.R.E.S. Committee hosts Hygiene Supply Drive for Community Assistance Center
The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s C.A.R.E.S. Committee joined together for their June Project to host a Hygiene Supply Drive for Community Assistance Center (CAC).
CAC has a mission to provide resources to meet basic needs and improve quality of life for our neighbors in Montgomery County. The local nonprofit has proudly served Montgomery County since 1981 and continues to provide basic needs services and long-term case management to individuals and families who are struggling through times of financial hardships.

For the July Project, the C.A.R.E.S. Committee encourages the community and Chamber members to get involved by donating gift cards for YES to YOUTH to purchase clothing, shoes, and school supplies for kids living at the BridgeWay Emergency Youth Shelter. Gift Cards can be dropped off at the Chamber’s office by August 6. Learn more and view suggested gift cards here.
The C.A.R.E.S. Committee – made up of chamber members including nonprofit organizations and businesses – embraces and promotes the value of teamwork, community service and stewardship. The team completes monthly community service projects or donation drives to serve nonprofit Chamber members. This team is also responsible for producing the annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon in April during National Volunteer Appreciation Week.
The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to the businesses and communities in which we live, play and work. The Chamber recognizes the value that the nonprofit community provides and is committee to supporting charitable causes.
