August 2025 – Classes and Programs at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center – August is full with programs and events at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center! View the calendar for events and learn how to join here. Canopy is a cancer survivorship on the campus of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. Canopy is open to men and women, no matter where you were treated, and for any kind of cancer – at no cost to you. If your life has been impacted, whether you were the patient, family, or the caregiver, you have a safe haven at Canopy.

August 1 – September 1, 2025 – Houston Restaurant Weeks – Celebrating its 22nd year, Houston Restaurant Weeks will officially begin August 1 and run through Labor Day, September 1. From award-winning fine dining to casual neighborhood restaurants, diners can sample some of the best that Houston’s culinary scene has to offer. Restaurants from the Galleria, Inner Loop, West Houston, East End, Midtown, Downtown, Sugar Land to Galveston and The Woodlands will be participating! Houston Restaurant Weeks raises funds for the Houston Food Bank, and for restaurants located in Montgomery County the funds will go to benefit the Montgomery County Food Bank. Learn More

August 2, 2025 – Free Concert at City Place – The return of City Place’s complimentary Summer Concert Series is back! Hot Nights, Cool Grooves takes center stage again at City Place on Saturday evenings. Join City Place on Saturday, August 2 from 5:30pm till 9:30pm to enjoy live music on the picturesque waterfront in City Place Plaza. August 9, 2025 – YES to YOUTH Gala – The 2025 YES to YOUTH Gala “BridgeWay to a Brighter Future” honoring William D. Malone, Jr. and Rotary Club of The Woodlands will be held Saturday, August 9 at 6 pm at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. The mission of YES to YOUTH is to strengthen the emotional and mental health development of youth and families by providing crisis intervention, mental health counseling, and suicide prevention services. August 16, 2025 – The Woodlands Chamber’s Chairman’s Ball – Join us for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s Chairman’s Ball with the theme of “An Evening in the French Quarter” honoring Chairman of the Board, Ann Wolford. August 3, 2025 – Cars & Coffee for a Cause – The Woodlands Car Club car enthusiasts gather at Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 6:30-10:00 a.m. to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community. All types of cars/vehicles from classics, hot rods, exotics, and more are welcome. The Woodlands Car Club shares information about needful non-profit organizations in Montgomery County, and gives back through donations to the Market Street “Change for Charities” program. Learn More

August 6, 2025 – Splash, Sirens and Snow Cones – Splish splash, join us for a blast! Come beat the heat with free snow cones, enjoy the splash pad and meet local first responders from The Woodlands Fire Department and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Bring bikes in any condition to The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Office at 8203 Millennium Forest Drive on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Township staff members will be available to help you unload your unwanted bikes, which will be refurbished and donated to those in need or recycled if beyond repair. August 15 & 22, 2025 – Women’s Ministry Lunch & Learns with Shelli & Rev. August 17, 2025 – Overdose Awareness Day – A free community event for youth and adults! Come together with M-COPE to raise awareness about the critical issue of substance use in our schools and community on Sunday, August 17 at 2:30 to 7 p.m. at Magnolia High School. The event will present a sports-themed focus this year to highlight the issue of substance misuse in athletics, an issue which often begins in high school and college and have Guest Speaker Jason Phillips, former NFL linebacker.
