Lone Star College System is now accepting applications for the 2025–26 Leadership High School (LHS) program, a dynamic, tuition-free initiative that prepares public high school sophomores and juniors to become future community leaders. LHS is designed to help students unlock their leadership potential, develop communication and problem-solving skills and connect with peers and professionals across industries.

“Leadership High School gives students a chance to shine beyond the classroom,” said Kay Fitzsimons, LSC executive director of Leadership and Economic Development. “It’s a transformative experience that builds confidence and cultivates a passion for service.”

The program begins in October with an orientation, followed by monthly interactive sessions, and concludes with a Certificate Ceremony on April 11. Each session explores leadership best practices and includes conversations with community and business leaders.
