Santa’s Sleigh makes a special stop at Houston Methodist The Woodlands NICU

By  |

He’s making a list, and checking it twice – and this year, Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is on Santa’s nice list!

The hospital brought holiday magic to its tiniest patients and their families as Santa Claus made a special trip from the North Pole to the NICU. His visit spread cheer and created lasting memories during a season that can often feel overwhelming for parents with babies in intensive care.

“Our baby boy was born on November 10th at just 33 weeks, and we’ve been in the NICU ever since,” said Chaunell Albert, a NICU parent at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. “Being in the NICU is an extremely stressful experience, but we’re thankful for our great care team – they’ve really helped us and eased our stress levels.”

To make the holidays brighter, the hospital ensured every family who wanted a holiday photo received their wish, turning a challenging time into a season of hope and joy.
