Science Fair Judges needed for SCI://TECH on January 22
Education for Tomorrow Alliance (EfTA) is seeking community volunteers for the 36th Annual SCI://TECH Exposition, STEM programming supporting local K–12 students. Volunteers will help review and rank student science fair projects. No prior experience is required and on-site training is provided. Volunteer shifts are approximately 3–3.5 hours, depending on the number of projects in each category. The greatest need is on Thursday, January 22.
Volunteers Opportunities
January 22 at the Lone Star Convention Center
- Chevron Phillips Chemical Senior High Fair Volunteer – Check in at 7:45 am
- Grand Awards Volunteer (Experience Required) – Check in at 11:15 am
- Entergy Junior High Science Fair Volunteer – Check in at 1:00 pm
January 23 at Lone Star College – Montgomery
- Private School Science Fair – Check in at 5:15 pm

SCI://TECH is a collaborative initiative between Education for Tomorrow Alliance, Conroe ISD, The John Cooper School, and other area private schools that encourages scientific curiosity and exploration. The 2026 SCI://TECH Exposition will engage approximately 4,000 K–12 students in 12 science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) competitions and events held over multiple weekends from mid-January to the end of February. SCI://TECH highlights include the Chevron Phillips Chemical Senior High and Entergy Junior High Science Fairs, scheduled for January 22, with nearly 500+ students registered to participate.
