Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center hosts annual Voices of Hope
On May 29, 2026, Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands hosted its annual Voices of Hope live show, an inspiring evening celebrating the resilience, creativity, and courage of those impacted by cancer.
Held in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the event featured performances by cancer survivors and caregivers who shared their stories through music, dance, art, spoken word, and personal expression. Each performance offered a powerful reminder that while cancer changes lives, it does not define them.
The event was hosted by Dr. Bonnie Hubert, LPC, Mental Health Counselor at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center, and Peyton Welch, RDT, Drama Therapy Instructor. Together, they created a meaningful space where participants could connect, heal, and find hope through creative expression.
Canopy extends heartfelt gratitude to the performers, volunteers, guests, and Memorial Hermann The Woodlands for helping make the evening unforgettable. Through the healing power of creativity and connection, Voices of Hope highlighted the importance of emotional wellness and support throughout the cancer journey.
