This year, Wine & Food Week held its 22nd annual celebration themed “Going Places: Discover Where Wine Can Take You” on June 1-7, 2026.

The week-long culinary journey culminated on Saturday, June 6 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott at The Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase where the Chef of Chefs title and a $5,000 cash prize was awarded after one of the region’s most prestigious culinary competitions.
The grand finale of events, the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase was a culinary extravaganza for the decadent taste bud enthusiasts. Food as art, attendees enjoyed chef demonstrations and culinary offerings from 35 restaurants competing to be the winner of the Chef of Chefs Culinary Awards, as voted by an esteemed panel of judges. Featuring hundreds of wines, The Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase presented guests with the opportunity to slip into their finest attire and be in the company of serious wine enthusiasts and outstanding culinary talent.
After the official kick-off toast at 6:45pm guests entered the grand ballroom to enjoy an around the world experience through their taste buds. The experience begins at the Bubbles Cove and hours of enjoyment followed by the grand announcement of the Chef of Chefs award-winners.
At the closing ceremony, the Winner of the Chef of Chefs Culinary Awards, as voted by an esteemed panel of judges, took home the Chef of Chefs trophy and $5,000 cash prize. Serious wine enthusiasts upgraded to the Bayway Cadillac VIP Luxury Lounge where crème de la crème wine selections for discerning palates are offered in swank surroundings within a private lounging area.
