Plato’s Closet celebrates Grand Opening of new location in Conroe on September 17
Plato’s Closet®, a leading teen and young adult retail resale concept, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its newest location at 1108 W. Dallas Street. The brand is known for its affordable, gently used clothing, shoes, accessories and more, which provides local teens and twenty-somethings with a store that not only puts cash back into their pockets but sells gently used brand name items for less.

Meet the owner
For Joseph Brassard, opening a Plato’s Closet in Conroe is a chance to bring a brand he has known and loved for nearly a decade back to the community he calls home. Raised in the area, Joseph was drawn to the opportunity to return to Conroe and open a store in the rapidly growing city he knows so well. His connection to Plato’s Closet began while studying business management in college, when he joined his parents at their Plato’s Closet location in Oklahoma City. After managing the store for approximately two years, Joseph was excited to take the next step and bring his own location to Conroe.
Beyond the business opportunity, Joseph was attracted to Plato’s Closet’s focus on giving pre-loved clothing a second life. Now, as he prepares to welcome customers through the doors, Joseph is most excited to see the hard work of his team come to life and create a store that brings energy, excitement and smiles to the Conroe community.
“Coming back to Conroe and opening a Plato’s Closet in the community where I was raised is incredibly meaningful to me,” said Joseph Brassard, owner of Plato’s Closet Conroe. “I’m so excited to open our doors and see the community experience the store we’ve worked so hard to create.”
