Dragon Divers Are SPC South Zone Champions, Dragon Swimmer Sets Record
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The John Cooper School’s Dragon divers came away from their recent Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) South Zone Swim & Dive meet as champions, while a Dragon swimmer set a South Zone 200 Individual Medley record.
VARSITY SWIM & DIVE
- 1/27 at SPC South Zone Championships*, UH Campus Recreation Center
Girls 6th • Boys 7th
Highlights:
- Morgan Robson & Diego Burgos are South Zone Diving Champions
- Monica Ianeva placed 1st in the 100 Breaststroke, 1st in the 200 Individual Medley where she also set a new SPC South Zone record
- Kyleigh Jeter: 5th in the 500 Freestyle
- Alexander Harris: 8th in the 100 Backstroke
“Along with our individual victories, everyone dropped time this week and had fantastic swims,” said Coach Sara Bany. “We are ready for the SPC Championships!”
