Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office awarded Agency of the Year by DA’s Vehicular Crimes Unit 

On March 9, 2023, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office held an awards ceremony to recognize the great efforts of the many Law Enforcement Agencies with regard to vehicular crimes such as Driving While Intoxicated [DWI]. 

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was honored to be awarded the “Agency of the Year” this year as we continue to take DWI’s very seriously and strive to save the lives that might otherwise be lost to such a senseless crime. 

Sheriff Rand Henderson: “I am incredibly grateful to receive the agency of the year award from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, on behalf of the men and women of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office makes enforcement of impaired driving a priority and will use all resources available to raise awareness about impaired driving and increase enforcement efforts.” 

Thank you to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and all the agencies and law enforcement officers who were recognized today for their efforts.
