“The first inning Cameron Patterson started it off with a single on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run,” said Coach Nicole Hedden. “Grace Minarovic, Sydney Kelly and Addy Tague powered the third inning with RBIs. The Dragons had 12 hits in the game. Patterson went three-for-four at the plate to lead Cooper in hits. Patterson, Minarovic, Tague and Leah Ruckman each managed multiple hits for us.”

“The Dragons came out swinging in the first inning, thanks to Grace Minarovic, Addy Tague, Ella Howard, Cameron Patterson, and a double by Leah Ruckman,” said Coach Hedden. Over the game, the Dragons collected 12 hits. Ruckman, Rogers, Minarovic and Patterson had multiple hits. Patterson, Minarovic, Rogers and Ruckman each collected two hits from leading the offense. Patterson got the win for the Dragons, surrendering zero runs on two hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out 12. In the field, Cooper had no errors. Maggie Flinn had the most chances on the field with 12.”
