American Heart Association – Gulf Coast welcomes two new board members
The American Heart Association–Gulf Coast has announced the addition of two new members to its board of directors: Michelle Little, a seasoned community affairs professional and community advocate, and Annie Bradbury, senior vice president of Woodforest National Bank and community supporter.
Board members play a vital role in advancing the Association’s mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. They bring a combination of professional expertise, personal passion and community influence to help drive revenue and health goals, while championing health access across the Gulf Coast.

Michelle Little, has been with Waste Connections for eighteen years, where she serves as vice president of community affairs and corporate giving and represents the company as a Women’s Network corporate representative. She previously held roles at Apple and PwC. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
Little is deeply committed to community service and advocacy. She has served on nonprofit boards in Montgomery County, including Inspiration Ranch and Angel Outreach. Her leadership experience and dedication to making a difference align strongly with the American Heart Association’s mission to improve cardiovascular health and save lives.
“Michelle’s lifelong commitment to service and advocacy has made a lasting impact across Montgomery County. Her leadership on nonprofit boards and her dedication to strengthening our community align beautifully with the American Heart Association’s mission to improve cardiovascular health and save lives. We are honored to welcome her to our Board of Directors and grateful for the passion and perspective she brings to our work.” said Kellie Armstrong, executive director of the American Heart Association Houston-Gulf Coast.
Annie Bradbury, originally from Conroe, graduated from Vanderbilt University and built a career that spans Washington, D.C., New York City, and Houston returning home to The Woodlands in 2012 to raise her family. Bradbury began her banking career at Amegy Bank in 2006 and now serves as senior vice president at Woodforest National Bank, where she leads the Healthcare team.

Beyond her professional work, Bradbury is deeply committed to philanthropy and community service. She has served in leadership positions with the Education for Tomorrow Alliance Board, Executive Women’s Alliance Board, and New Danville. She and her husband also restored a historic property in Willis, opening The Historic Hill House and Farm in 2018, which serves as a gathering place for community events, weddings, and retreats.
Bradbury actively supports initiatives that strengthen health and wellness, including her involvement with the American Heart Association, which plays a vital role in improving cardiovascular health and saving lives across the Gulf Coast. You can find her on weekends on the soccer or football field, basketball court, or gymnastics academy cheering on her 3 kids, as well as early mornings at Pure Barre.
“Annie brings a remarkable blend of financial expertise, community leadership, and genuine passion for service to our board,” said Kellie Armstrong. “Her commitment to philanthropy and her dedication to strengthening health and wellness across our community make her a natural fit for the American Heart Association. We are thrilled to welcome her voice, insight, and vision as we continue our mission to improve cardiovascular health and save lives.”
Board members serve four to six-year terms and help the Association address critical health issues including hypertension awareness, CPR education and reducing the risk of heart disease in women. The Gulf Coast board is focused on removing barriers to care and improving cardiovascular health for all residents, as we aim to address hypertension control, nutrition security, maternal wellbeing, and adequate response times to cardiac emergencies.
