Angels Loft welcomes Seniors for a day of Fellowship, Shopping and supporting Angel Reach
Angels Loft Resale recently welcomed busloads of seniors from Dignity Memorial’s L.I.F.T. program for a day of fellowship, shopping, and supporting Angel Reach.
Angels Loft Resale is more than just a charity resale store. Located at 2121 Timber Lane in Conroe, Angels Loft is part of Angel Reach, the local nonprofit organization with a mission of breaking the generational cycle of abuse, neglect, and homelessness affecting youth who age out of the foster care system and those at risk of homelessness. By supporting Angel Reach through sustainable shopping, every purchase you make at Angels Loft helps fund vital community programs and services. In the store you will find furniture, clothing, and home goods. Angels Loft receives new donations daily, professionally curated to offer the best in preloved items at great prices.
Long-time customer Jackie from Dignity Memorial’s L.I.F.T. program arranged the seniors’ trip and recent visit to Angels Loft. The group of forty seniors rode by bus and visited Angels Loft on Senior Day, which is held every Wednesday and gives seniors a special 20% off the entire store. The popular weekly event and discount is available to anyone 55-years-old and up.
According to Dignity Memorial’s website, “Dignity Memorial LIFT is a social support program that helps widows and widowers adjust to the loss of their spouses by socializing with others who share similar feelings and experiences. The L.I.F.T. program offers many engaging activities like luncheons, sporting events, holiday activities, day trips and educational seminars. There are no fees or dues to participate; L.I.F.T. members are responsible only for their meals or personal expenses, and participation is not restricted to those who have been served by Dignity Memorial providers.” The L.I.F.T. program is available at select Dignity Memorial locations.
During their visit, the seniors purchased all sorts of items (receiving 20% off the entire store) and shared with staff who much they loved coming to Angels Loft and found some incredible deals and treasures.
Angels Loft Resale is located at 2121 Timber Lane, Conroe, TX 77301 and open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Angels Loft is closed on Sunday.
