Artisan Market returns to Grand Central Park March 1

Shoppers will have an opportunity to connect with unique items crafted by local artisans when the Grand Central Park Artisan Market returns to the Conroe community 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the first Saturday of each month March through December.

The event kicks off March 1 at The Lake House amenity complex, 1039 Lake House Drive in Conroe. Merchant offerings will include apparel, home goods, jewelry, beauty products, baked goods, pet items and more.

“The monthly Artisan Market was conceived last year to connect local businesses with a broader audience,” said Amanda Burke, Director of Marketing for Grand Central Park. “From the beginning, the markets proved popular with vendors and the public. It’s wonderful to see so many people coming out, enjoying themselves and finding that perfect something they can’t get anywhere else.”

In addition to dozens of vendors selling a variety of items, the March market will feature offerings from three local wineries: The Ferm Meadery, H-Wines and Winking Stars Sparkling Wine.

The Ferm Meadery serves up a range of honey wines flavored with fruits and herbs. H-Wines specializes in wines crafted using French winemaking methods. Winking Stars Sparkling Wine is the home of Mimoza, canned sparkling wine mixed with fruit juices.

Additional Artisan Markets will take place April 5, May 3, June 7, July 5, Aug. 2, Sept. 6, Oct. 4, Nov. 1 and Dec. 6.

Grand Central Park is located 5 miles north of The Woodlands on I-45 North and S. Loop 336. Homes in the community are priced from the low $300,000s to millions.
