As part of the organization’s Bringing Hope to the Table initiative, volunteer Advocates are distributing tote bags filled with healthy food items to families in need. This effort aims to provide both immediate relief and long-term support by connecting families to existing community resources, helping to combat food insecurity and ensuring that every child served by Child Advocates has access to the resources they need to thrive.

“Having nutritious food is critical to the well-being of the children and families we support, and this pantry exemplifies the strength of community partnerships,” said Ann Marie Ronsman, President & CEO of Child Advocates of Montgomery County. “Thanks to the incredible generosity of Waste Connections and H-E-B, more families will receive essential resources that truly make a difference.”

The establishment of this pantry was made possible through the dedication of Michelle Little, Vice President – Community Affairs and Corporate Giving of Waste Connections; Crissy Smith, Area Community Coordinator with H-E-B; and Spencer Parish, Top Store Leader at the Conroe H-E-B on North Frazier. Their commitment to serving the community has been instrumental in ensuring that children in need have access to shelf-stable, healthy food.

Through collective efforts, Child Advocates of Montgomery County continues to nourish the community and bring hope to the table, ensuring that vulnerable families receive the support they need.
