Celebrate Father’s Day during our Dads, Dinos and Donuts Day Dino-rific event
Celebrate Father’s Day and National Dinosaur Day on Saturday, June 14, 2025 during our Dads, Dinos and Donuts rex-cellent event from 10:00am-5:00pm.
This truly roar-some occasion will showcase a captivating dinosaur balloon sculpture park, providing exceptional do-it-yourself photo opportunities for families seeking memorable snapshots. In addition to sharing playtime in our exhibits, guests are also invited to visit the Muse art bar to create Dino-mite dinosaur hats and a nuts-n-bolts keychain for a T-rrific Father’s Day gift.
On our Play-a-Long performance stage, families can enjoy the beat of this wildly fun day with the Woodlands Symphony Orchestra’s Percussion Ensemble at 10:30am and 11:30am. This interactive performance will be led by Lamar Burkhalter, a distinguished percussion educator, clinician, arranger and performer who also serves as the Music Director for the NFL Houston Texans. The performance is made possible through generous support from the Montgomery County Community Foundation and is sure to delight young audiences!
At 11:00am, giggle along to a storybook reading of “How to Catch a Daddysaurus,” by Alice Walstead. In this delightful story, there’s a mystical creature with amazing qualities such as kindness, bravery and humor—the Daddysaurus!
In the afternoon, we are excited to feature children’s musician Juicebox Jukebox on our performance stage with three shows at 12:45pm, 1:45pm and 2:45pm. Juicebox Jukebox creates fun, positive and educational music focusing on core subjects and character-building themes with a fresh perspective. We are pleased to welcome back this Dallas-based singer/songwriter through the Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Roster.
All attendees are invited to indulge in complimentary donut holes and enjoy our coffee bar, available from 10:00am until noon.
Dads, Dinos and Donuts Day is included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older. Visitors are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets for this popular event at www.woodlandschildrensmuseum.org.
