Chennault Aviation Academy partners with Purdue Global to create accelerated degree pathways for aviation students
Chennault Aviation announced a new educational partnership with Purdue Global, the online university of the Purdue University system. Under this agreement, students enrolled in Chennault Aviation Academy (CAA) and Chennault Aviation Maintenance Academy (CAMA) can apply their flight and maintenance training toward Purdue Global’ s bachelor’s degrees in professional flight, aviation management, and other related fields. Chennault Aviation students and their immediate family members will also receive a 20% tuition reduction on undergraduate programs and a 14% reduction on graduate programs, with textbooks included for all undergraduate courses. Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available.
Chennault Aviation operates a private airfield (25TX) in Conroe, Texas, integrating flight training, mechanic training, and aircraft maintenance into a single aviation ecosystem. By aligning these programs with Purdue Global’s accredited online degrees, Chennault Aviation is broadening the educational horizons for its students and strengthening the general aviation community. A scholarship towards the program will be available online by the end of next week.
The CAMA Flying Tigers are gearing up for the Aerospace Maintenance Competition. Our team of 6 students will head to Orlando Florida this April 20th-23rd. They will compete against other maintenance schools, airline, military, and space teams in 29 events. The six team members, Vincent Sin, Jeremy Janes, Joshua Flores, Bryce Norris, Samantha Tijerina, and Andrew Cornell have been practicing for the competition since October of 2025. The events include several aviation maintenance tasks including electrical troubleshooting, safety wire, composite layup, and new and emerging technologies. The team members will be judged on the ability to complete the task required within 15 minutes with as few mistakes as possible. Help wish our team success and good luck on their first foray into the word of competition!
