Far more than just a collection of books, the Fitness Project Children’s Library serves as a gateway to joy, comfort, and possibility for children in crisis—many of whom have never owned a book of their own. Through the ongoing efforts of Child Advocates, brand-new books are delivered each month to children receiving support, providing them with meaningful stories to uplift and inspire them.

Thanks to the unwavering commitment of Fitness Project CEO & Founder Bryan Murphy and his amazing team, Child Advocates of Montgomery County can continue this vital initiative. The children’s library supports children within the child welfare system, justice-involved youth program, and educational advocacy efforts, ensuring they not only have Advocates to stand by them but also books that help shape their futures.

“We are immensely grateful to Fitness Project for their dedication to our mission and their continued generosity,” said Child Advocates President & CEO Ann Marie Ronsman. “The Fitness Project Children’s Library is more than just a wonderful resource in our office—it is a symbol of hope and encouragement for the children we serve.”

With this exciting community partnership, Fitness Project and Child Advocates of Montgomery County reaffirm their commitment to amplifying the voices of children who need it most, ensuring they have both the support of dedicated Advocates and the opportunity to experience the transformative power of books.
