The team at CommonSpirit – St. Luke’s Hospital – The Woodlands recently gathered to celebrate a historic milestone: the official launch of the new CommonSpirit brand. This transition marks a new chapter for the local campus, reinforcing its connection to the national CommonSpirit Health network- one of the country’s largest faith-based, nonprofit healthcare providers. While the signage and name have evolved, the hospital remains deeply committed to the legacy of care that has served The Woodlands community for over 20 years.

“Today is a proud moment for our team here in The Woodlands,” said Hospital President, Jim Parisi. “Blessing these new signs is more than just a change in branding; it is a commitment to the community that our mission remains unchanged. We are excited to embrace the CommonSpirit identity while continuing to provide the same compassionate, high-quality care our patients have long trusted.”

This branding update aligns the local campus with the broader CommonSpirit Health organization, which was formed in 2019 following the merger of Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health. The name CommonSpirit is derived from the scripture, “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good” (1 Corinthians 12:7)—reflecting the shared values of the hospitals and health systems that prioritize the wellbeing of the communities they serve.

In addition to the rebrand, St. Luke’s Health is expanding its collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) across the Greater Houston area. This enhanced partnership brings BCM specialists closer to The Woodlands, further increasing patient access to cutting-edge medical expertise, research, and advanced treatments.

Despite the outward changes, patients can expect the same dedicated care teams and clinical excellence they have always relied upon. Our mission has always been powered by humankindness. Whether it is a new sign on the building or a new way to coordinate care with our BCM partners, everything we do is aimed at building a healthier future for our neighbors here in The Woodlands.
