Cooper athletes share time and talent to mentor younger students
Meet Z Hemani, a rising senior at John Cooper School and the founder and head coach of a youth football camp that’s now in its second successful summer! What started as a small initiative has grown into a full team effort—complete with a new website, strong community support, and a powerful mission.
This year, the camp is proudly partnering with The Champions Project, a local nonprofit that empowers youth through sports. In just two weeks, they’ve already raised $1,300 through signups and donations—and there’s still one more week to go, with the final camp day on July 12!
