Cooper Hosts Canstruction Dedication for The Montgomery County Food Bank

By  |

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The John Cooper School partners with The Montgomery County Food Bank on several initiatives. One of the most exciting is the annual Canstruction event. Students from The John Cooper School design, engineer, and build a house out of canned and dry goods. This year students raised more than $13,000 to help fight food insecurity in Montgomery County.

This philosophy echoes the vision of our founder, John Cooper, who believed in instilling these values from an early age as part of holistic child development.

The John Cooper School remains steadfast in its mission to provide a challenging education in a caring environment to a diverse group of select students, enabling them to become critical and creative thinkers, effective communicators, responsible citizens and leaders, and lifelong learners.
