El Mercado celebrates Hispanic Heritage this Sunday at Market Street
In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Market Street is hosting El Mercado this Sunday, September 21 from Noon – 4:00 pm.
Guests are invited to Central Park to discover the talent behind each of the Hispanic vendors such as Casa Sienna, Mesa Fiora, Susana Vega, Molona Kids and many more. Light bites and children’s activities also will be available, and attendees may enjoy a performance from Mariachi Calmecac from 1:30 – 3:00 pm.
Don Cosme Tequila samples will be on hand at a table courtesy of The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber.
National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually observed from September 15 to October 15 in the United States for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic culture to the nation’s achievements, culture, and history.
