Ema Japanese Cuisine in The Woodlands to Celebrate Grand Opening with Live Bluefin Tuna Cutting
Ema Japanese Cuisine will officially celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, August 16, inviting guests to experience a fresh take on Japanese dining through its elevated all-you-can-eat menu, premium sushi and a live Bluefin Tuna cutting demonstration.
Located in The Woodlands, Ema Japanese Cuisine was created to redefine the all-you-can-eat dining experience by pairing unlimited premium selections with the quality, presentation and hospitality typically found in upscale Japanese restaurants.
Unlike traditional all-you-can-eat concepts, Ema focuses on freshly prepared sushi, sashimi and authentic Japanese cuisine crafted to order using carefully sourced ingredients and meticulous preparation.
“People often associate all-you-can-eat with quantity over quality, and we wanted to completely change that perception,” said Henry Zhu, Owner. “At Ema, guests can enjoy an unlimited dining experience without compromising freshness, craftsmanship or hospitality. Every plate that leaves our kitchen is prepared with the same attention to detail as an à la carte restaurant.”

To commemorate the grand opening, Ema will host a live Bluefin Tuna Cutting Show at 3 p.m., giving guests a rare opportunity to watch one of Japan’s most celebrated culinary traditions as a premium Bluefin tuna is expertly broken down by Zhu and his team.
The celebration will also feature a special one-day-only Omakase Tasting Experience for $49.99, offering guests a chef-curated tasting menu inspired by traditional Japanese dining. The exclusive menu will only be available during the grand opening celebration.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy Ema’s signature all-you-can-eat menu featuring handcrafted sushi rolls, premium nigiri, sashimi, appetizers, hot kitchen favorites and other Japanese specialties in a contemporary, welcoming atmosphere designed for families, friends and sushi enthusiasts alike.
“Opening Ema has always been about creating a place where guests can enjoy exceptional Japanese cuisine in an approachable and welcoming environment,” Zhu said. “We’re excited to introduce our concept to The Woodlands and celebrate with the community through an unforgettable grand opening.”

With nearly two decades of experience in Japanese cuisine, Zhu has built a reputation for culinary excellence and hospitality, having developed multiple successful restaurant concepts throughout Texas. Ema represents the next chapter in that journey while introducing an elevated dining destination to North Houston.
Ema Japanese Cuisine is located in The Woodlands and is now welcoming guests for lunch and dinner.
