Family Promise of Montgomery County Platinum Gala Celebrates 20th Anniversary Serving Area Families
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Family Promise of Montgomery County is pleased to announce their Platinum 20th Anniversary Gala, A Promise for a Brighter Tomorrow, on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 at Glade Arts Foundation.
The 20th anniversary celebration is presented by Wiesner Auto Group and Co-Chaired by John Woods, Roy Villarreal, Dar Kurtz and Lisa Harra. The event will raise critical funds for families who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness. Family Promise would also like to thank Gold Sponsor – Tenaris, and Silver Sponsor – Woodforest National Bank, as well as the Family Promise Board of Directors for their contributions.
The 20th Anniversary Platinum Gala will be an enchanting night to remember that will surely captivate guests. Attendees will be dazzled and entertained with the lively sounds of the Nathana Reed Quartet, feast on a delicious meal by Posh Affair and bid on fabulous live auction items including a Quail Hunt, Blue Moon Cruise out of Clear Lake, and Theater Under the Stars tickets.
In affluent areas such as Montgomery County and The Woodlands, it is startling to realize that there are 800 families with school age children in the area that don’t have secure housing. Family Promise keeps families together and changes lives, offering innovative programs and services such as tenancy preparation, financial literacy and career path training to meet vulnerable families where and how they need targeted assistance. The mission of Family Promise is to serve homeless families with children by uniting faith communities, corporations, individual and civic groups in a cooperative effort to provide shelter, meals, transportation and compassionate assistance leading to independence.
