Fire at Texas Renaissance Festival extinguished

The Texas Renaissance Festival shared in a media statement on Friday, October 9 that a fire was reported at the festival at approximately 2:30 p.m. and has been extinguished.

Todd Mission, Plantersville/Stoneham, Whitehall, Tri-County, Rolling Hills, and Magnolia Volunteer Fire Departments responded to control the fire in addition to TRF staff on site. Three booths (#63, #64, #65) were lost, and two booths were damaged but saved near the Polish Pub area of the festival. There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

The festival plans to open as scheduled for the second weekend of the 46th season tomorrow.
