Grand Central Park Opens New Section of Homesites

By  |

CONROE, TX – Fresh off its strongest sales year in its four-year history, the Montgomery County community of Grand Central Park has opened its next section of new homes, 148 prime homesites within walking distance of picturesque natural settings and the soon-to-open Lake House amenity complex.

Part of the community’s Central Village, the just-released section will offer new, feature-rich homes from the $250s by Coventry Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Trendmaker Homes, and Westin Homes. Plans range from 1,500 – 3,800 square feet with select homesites offering lake views.

New, move-in ready homes are currently under construction in the section, while a new Highland Homes model is expected to open in February.

“We already have several sales in the section even before our public announcement,” says Shannon League, Director of Marketing for Grand Central Park.  “It’s a very positive sign in terms of carrying the momentum from last year into 2021.”

According to League, sales in the carefully planned community of new homes jumped 93 percent in 2020 compared to the previous year.

She says prospective buyers continue to be drawn to Grand Central Park’s 2,046-acre setting of expansive lakes, including its 88-acre Grand Lake, forested walking paths and nature-inspired playground.

League also cites the community’s availability of move-in ready homes from the upper $200s, the soon-to-open Lake House amenity complex and proximity to The Woodlands and other employment centers as additional selling points driving sales.

The Lake House, scheduled to open in the spring, will feature a resort-style pool, fitness room, yoga and event lawn, playground and freestanding pavilion for events and resident gatherings, and an event room with kitchen.

Later this year, Grand Central Park will welcome the opening of Marcel Boulevard, a community-centric lifestyle development with boutique retailers, chef-inspired restaurants, and executive office space.

Residents also enjoy the convenience of the onsite retail destination 336 Marketplace featuring a Kroger Marketplace, HomeGoods, Marshalls, Dick’s Sporting Goods and other shopping conveniences.

“Every community hits its stride at a different time,” League adds.  “We’ve certainly found ours.”
