Habitat for Humanity’s 2nd Annual Hats for Homes set to February 24
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Texas (Habitat MCTX) is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated 2nd Annual Hats for Homes, an intimate live‑music and culinary experience benefiting Habitat’s mission to build strength, stability, and self‑reliance through affordable homeownership.
Set for Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Kirby Icehouse – The Woodlands, this year’s event brings an extraordinary lineup to the stage, headlined by acclaimed Texas artist Pat Green, alongside special guests Walt Wilkins and Chef Austin Simmons. The evening will be hosted by long-time Habitat supporters Laura and David Piccione.
Hats for Homes blends the fun and flair of a custom hat experience with the soul of Texas music and the heart of community impact. Tickets include Chef Austin Simmons’ famous gourmet burger, chips, and 2 drink tickets.
Guests will enjoy:
- An intimate concert from celebrated Texas musicians, Pat Green and Walt Wilkins

Proceeds from Hats for Homes will support Habitat MCTX programs and the upcoming 2026 Building Hope Gala, Casa de Corazon, which strengthen community connections and long‑term stability. The Building Hope Gala plays a critical role in funding Habitat MCTX’s programs, including affordable homeownership opportunities, critical home repairs, and initiatives like Homes for Heroes that support first responders, veterans, and school employees. Through this support, more neighbors across Montgomery County can have a safe and stable place to call home.
