Heavy Law Enforcement presence at The Woodlands Mall

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office shared the following update on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 1:58 p.m. reguarding Heavy Law Enforcement presence at The Woodlands Mall:

“Heavy law enforcement presence around the Woodlands Mall, investigating threats made to the Mall. The Mall is not being evacuated at this time and normal business operations are continuing as usual. Law enforcement will be remaining in the area. There have been similar calls in the region. Out of an abundance of caution, law enforcement is investigating. However, we believe this may be related to a swatting call and not a legitimate threat. More information to follow.”
