Houston Healthcare Conroe achieves prestigious Magnet designation for nursing excellence HCA

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is proud to announce it has achieved Magnet® with Distinction™ from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the highest national honor for nursing excellence. This prestigious achievement marks a significant achievement as one of only five healthcare organizations in the state of Texas to earn Magnet® with Distinction™.

Magnet® designation is considered the gold standard in nursing and is awarded to healthcare organizations that demonstrate superior nursing processes and quality patient care. Currently, only about 8% of hospitals in the United States have earned this designation, and even fewer have achieved Magnet® with Distinction™, placing HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe among an elite group of healthcare institutions nationwide.

The journey to Magnet® recognition involves a rigorous evaluation process including a comprehensive application, extensive documentation of nursing practices and a rigorous site visit by ANCC appraisers. The designation signifies that HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe meets the highest standards for nursing excellence, patient care and innovation in professional nursing practice.

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is a 332-bed acute care facility that has been serving the community for more than 80 years.
