Labor Day Weekend Celebration features pie-eating and more

The Woodlands Township invites residents to celebrate Labor Day weekend on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Waterway Square, 31 Waterway Square Place. This free event offers live music by Rule 77 (Variety), children’s activities, strolling entertainment, pie-eating contests and fireworks (weather permitting).

Pie-eating contests, sponsored by House of Pies, will be open to both youth and adults. Those interested will be able to sign up for the eating contests onsite, but space is very limited. Early arrival is highly encouraged to ensure a spot in the contests.

A beverage booth will be available to purchase a variety of beverages. Attendees are encouraged to patronize local restaurants before or after the event. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Please note, glass is prohibited.
