1. Why do you enjoy living (and working, if applicable) in The Woodlands?

I love being surrounded by nature, knowing my family is safe, and being part of a community that truly cares about one another. From our great schools and community events to the incredible amenities, there is simply no place like The Woodlands!

2.  What motivates you to run for The Woodlands Township Board of Directors?

I want to give back to the community I love. I’ve spent my career in public service, grew up here, and returned to The Woodlands to raise my family.

It’s important to me that The Woodlands remains safe, thriving, and true to its natural beauty for generations to come.

3. If elected, what would your top 3 priorities as a Township Board of Director be? How would you work to impact/shape the future of The Woodlands?

My priorities are simple: public safety, keeping taxes low, and finding new ways to generate revenue.

More than 70% of Township revenue comes from sales and use-related sources, including hotel occupancy and mixed beverage taxes. That’s why responsible economic development matters.

I want to explore new hotels, a potential performing arts center, and other opportunities that grow our revenue base. That way we can keep our property taxes among the lowest in Texas.

 4. Would you like to share any other words or a message to The Woodlands community?

Thank you for taking the time to read this! After more than 20 years working in government and public service, I know how important local elections are.

If elected, I promise to bring my passion, experience, and commitment to service to The Woodlands Township Board and work every day to make our community even stronger.
