Live Band and Entertainment Schedule at Arts Festival

By  |

THE WOODLANDS, TX – At The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, the wide array of fine art styles and mediums is matched by a full program of regional music from live bands and local entertainers on four stages throughout the weekend. The 13th annual Festival is set for the weekend of April 7 and 8 in Town Green Park and along the scenic banks of The Woodlands Waterway.

“The performing arts add another dimension to our Festival, which is a feast for all the senses,” said Angela Colton, Director of Performing Arts for The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival. “Looking at breathtaking original art while listening to great music and savoring delicious food and beverages is the ideal way to spend the weekend. And knowing that the proceeds are going towards funding The Woodlands Arts Council’s educational outreach programs makes it all the more enjoyable and rewarding.”

The main attractions will take place on the Palette Café Stage, situated in lower Town Green Park on The Waterway. Sit and relax while you listen to the best soul, blues and Texas funk around. On Saturday, April 7, stroll to the beat of the DJ Mac Big Band, followed by Sarah Sharp, Texas Gypsies, George Navarro and Smooth Hound Smith. Get a bite to eat from the assortment of food vendors at the Festival while taking in the art, music and culture throughout the day.

On Sunday, April 8, savor the mellow vibe of Eddie Moore and the Outer Circle followed by the Winterlings and Slaid Cleaves. The finale will be a rousing performance by Caleb and the Homegrown Tomatoes.

The Watercolor Terrace Stage is adjacent to the Watercolor Terrace Hospitality Suite, a tented, relaxing oasis with lounge style seating that is centrally located within the Festival site. A $75 weekend ticket to Watercolor Terrace covers admission to this cool, scenic retreat plus small bites, beer and wine, VIP Parking, phone charging station, valet service for art purchases and more! This is a great place to meet up with friends to compare purchases and have a refreshing glass of wine or beer while listening to amazing acoustic sets, the best of singer-songwriters and big band sounds.

Stroll west on The Waterway and you will find a new stage set in the middle of the Craft Beer Garden. Nothing goes hand-in-hand like a cold, frothy beverage and some cool Texas tunes to help you wind down the day.

Come check out the homegrown talent gracing the Art & Culture Stage in Upper Town Green Park, showcasing local non-profit cultural groups with an ever-expanding repertoire of talented individuals. The fabulous costumes and array of diverse cultural acts will keep you entertained for hours!
