  • 2nd & Charles, 1306 West Davis Street, Conroe — Saturday, April 25 from 12 PM to 5 PM

25902: Homemade with Love is Parise’s newest nonfiction work, a warm, deeply personal tribute to her family’s Texas home in Montgomery County. The memoir follows her parents’ journey as they navigate repeated loan denials, unexpected setbacks, and the challenges of building a home by hand, all while raising a family with love, determination and grace.

A recent Readers’ Favorite review praised the book for its emotional honesty and sense of connection. Reviewer Makeda Cummings wrote, “If you are a fan of memoirs about perseverance and family bonds, this one will warm your heart from beginning to end.”

Parise will also sign copies of her first book, Biography of an Everyday Couple, a companion memoir honoring her parents’ love story and the quiet strength of everyday people. The book has earned five‑star ratings from both Readers’ Favorite and Writer’s Digest®.

Together, the two books offer a heartfelt look at family legacy, resilience, and the meaning of home. “I wrote these books to preserve the stories that shaped us,” Parise said. “They remind us that ordinary lives often hold the most extraordinary moments.”

Both titles will be available for purchase at the events and on Amazon. For more information, visit www.LorrieParise.com.
