Love Fosters Hope to hold its 14th annual Run for Hope
On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the scenic Woodlands Waterway will be filled with purpose and energy as Love Fosters Hope hosts its 14th Annual Run for Hope, a heartfelt community event benefiting children and teens in foster care who have experienced abuse, abandonment, and neglect.
This family-friendly fundraiser kicks off at 7:00 AM and includes a 1-Mile Fun Run ($15), a Timed 5K ($40), and a Timed 10K Race ($50). Participants will enjoy a beautiful course, a light breakfast, and entertainment for children all while making a lasting impact on the lives of youth in need. Medals will be awarded to overall winners and top age group finishers in the 5K and 10K events.
The mission behind the event is urgent and powerful. Every four minutes in the U.S., a child is abused. Foster youth face staggering odds: 59% are likely to be incarcerated as juveniles, 3 in 10 of the nation’s homeless population were once in foster care, and less than 2% earn a college degree. But Run for Hope offers a chance to help change these outcomes by supporting programs that bring hope, healing, and opportunity.
