Market Street celebrates Local Artists at 2026 Fall Fine Arts Show
Market Street is honored to showcase works of art from a variety of local artists at the 2026 Fall Fine Arts Show, happening Saturday, October 17 from 10 am – 6 pm.
Artists creating original paintings, photography, jewelry, metal works, sculptures, digital art, mixed media and more will be featured at the popular show, which is free and open to the public.
“Now in its 21st year, the Fall Fine Arts Show is one of the most highly anticipated events we host here at Market Street,” said Market Street Marketing Director John Pearson. “We are proud to be able to feature works by incredibly talented artists from our community.”
When asked what she enjoys about creating art, participating artist Sarah Mailhot said, “I think what I enjoy most about creating is it doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. Every piece is different, and I like letting the process shape the final painting instead of trying to force it to look a certain way. My goal is to make art that feels natural, personal, giving people a chance to see something different in that painting other than what I might see myself.”
Jewelry maker Dina Naslund of Chestnut Chic Studio shares that her jewelry creations are “inspired by nature and saved by grace. My designs are handcrafted mixed-material jewelry and artwork designed to enrich individual style with elegance and a touch of whimsy.”
Paper artist María José Colin of Marea Paper Art shares, “My work transforms paper into dimensional compositions through hundreds of hand-folded elements, where light and shadow become part of the piece. My hope is to create a sense of calm and invite people to slow down, pause, and get lost in the details. I’m so excited to share my work at the Market Street Fine Art Show.”
Participating artist Evan Hunt said, “My work is about creating moments where the familiar becomes a little more dreamlike. I’m inspired by the flowing patterns and decorative details of Art Nouveau and artists Mucha, and Klimt. I hope my paintings invite people to slow down, look closer, and discover something new. I’m excited to share that experience with the community through the Market Street Fine Art Show.”
More than 30 artists will be featured at this year’s show. In case of inclement weather, the show will be moved to Saturday, October 24.
