Market Street donates more than 10K to New Danville as part of Change for Charity program
As part of its Change for Charity initiative, Market Street and The Woodlands Car Club recently donated more than $10,000 to New Danville, which serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and those needing similar services. Located in a rural environment, New Danville promotes dignity, respect, and the opportunity to live enriched and purposeful lives.
Since the program’s inception, Market Street patrons and The Woodlands Car Club event attendees have raised more than $350,000 for local charities.
The Woodlands Car Club generously raises money at their events, held the first Sunday of each month. Their contributions, coupled with the amount donated to Market Street’s parking meters make up the total amount given to a selected charity each quarter.
