Market Street Hosts 47th Annual South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade & Live Music

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Market Street is the best place to celebrate our nation’s birthday. Join the fun this 4th of July beginning at 9:00 am as the community gathers at Market Street for the 47th Annual South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade – a patriotic tradition featuring marching bands, parade floats and local dignitaries.

Additionally, the shopping, dining, and entertainment destination will host a live performance from the Gary Kyle July 4th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.

47th Annual South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade: 9:00 am The 47th Annual South Montgomery County Fourth of July Parade kicks off an “America, Our Classroom of Freedom” theme led by Grand Marshall, Dr. Curtis Null of Conroe ISD, with marching bands, fire engines, horses, and floats along with appearances from local dignitaries. Live Concert: 5:00 – 8:00 pm
Gary Kyle will perform live in Central Park on July 4 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Guests may bring a blanket or lawn chair to listen to the soulful Texas Country performance.

The South County Fourth of July Committee is a 501(c)(3) corporation funded by community donations and sponsorships, comprised of dedicated volunteers responsible for the annual 4th of July Parade in The Woodlands area. The parade was originally organized by The Woodlands Lions Club in the late 1970’s before the formation of The South County Fourth of July Committee in the early 1990’s.
