Market Street to host Grand Chanukah Celebration and Menorah Lighting Sunday, December 18
THE WOODLANDS, TX – In celebration of Chanukah, Market Street will host Chabad of The Woodlands for a Grand Chanukah Celebration and Menorah Lighting on Sunday, December 18 from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
Israeli-born performer, Yoel Sharabi, will take center stage as the evening’s entertainment. Yoel is known for a wide repertoire and dynamic, enthusiastic style. As a master of Israeli music, Yoel is also proficient at Classic Yemenite, and popular Chassidic melodies and delivers his songs in a variety of languages and styles. Yoel performed at the Grand Chanukah celebration at Market Street in 2019.
The performance by Yoel Sharabi begins at 4:30 pm, followed by the lighting of a nine-foot, eight branched menorah at 5:15 pm by Rabbi Mendel Blecher. Additional musical entertainment from Yoel Sharabi will round out the evening’s festivities.
Now in its twelfth year, Market Street’s Grand Chanukah Celebration is a beloved community tradition held in Central Park. There is no admission fee required to attend. Chanukah Goodie Bags will be available at the event by advance reservation at JewishWoodlands.com.
