Memorial Hermann holds Angel Reach Drive to help Homeless and Aged-out Foster Youth
The current Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center Leadership Development Academy (LDA) cohort sponsored a successful community project for Angel Reach – a donation drive for homeless and aged out foster youth they serve here in Montgomery County. Part of the culture at Memorial Hermann is to expand community outreach, and a meaningful way to accomplish this is through volunteerism.
Many departments created fully assembled welcome basket items created from a laundry basket filled with useful items, while other hospital team members contributed those items in bulk and/or donated miscellaneous items needed by Angel Reach.
Pictured below are many of the LDA class members with donations gathered up for delivery to Angel Reach headquarters in Conroe, while the secondary photo was taken at Angel Reach during delivery.
