Memorial Hermann’s In the Pink of Health Committee Announces Author Elin Hilderbrand as Guest Speaker for its September 15 Luncheon
Each year, the Memorial Hermann In the Pink of Health Luncheon is held to raise awareness and funds for the prevention of breast and ovarian cancer and to help local cancer survivors during their journey. The luncheon features both a local cancer survivor and a nationally-known speaker.
This year’s speaker is New York Times bestselling author and breast cancer survivor Elin Hilderbrand. Ms. Hilderbrand is the author of 28 novels, the majority of which are set on the island of Nantucket. Her first novel, “The Beach Club,” was published in 2000.
The In the Pink of Health committee is thrilled to host Ms. Hilderbrand, who recently announced her plan to retire after her 2024 book is published and become a book influencer.
Now in its 23rd year, In the Pink of Health has invested a total of $8.1 million to promote breast and ovarian health and to support cancer survivors on their journey. Sponsorships are available now for purchase at inthepinkofhealth.org.
