Memorial Hermann’s In the Pink of Health breaks Fundraising Records at 25th Anniversary Luncheon
A sea of pink and teal filled The Woodlands Waterway Marriott as more than 1,000 guests celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Memorial Hermann’s In the Pink of Health luncheon – breaking fundraising records in support of breast and ovarian cancer awareness and survivorship programs.
The event’s Presenting Sponsor, KIH-LLC.com, led by Richie and CeCe Ray, marked its 11th consecutive year of partnership. Guests enjoyed a day of sparkle and spirit with photo cookies, a glitter bar, the ever-popular Glam Pull sponsored by Makeup Junkie and Arbonne, and the BMW of The Woodlands Luxury Raffle, featuring designer handbags, including a Hermes Birkin, a diamond tennis bracelet, and a two-year BMW lease.
Since its founding, In the Pink of Health has reinvested more than $9.1 million to reduce the incidence of breast and ovarian cancer and support survivors through programs like Canopy, the Cancer Survivorship Center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands.

Returning as emcee, Dana Tyson of 99.1 Sunny Radio kept the energy high throughout the afternoon. Justin Kendrick, Senior Vice President and CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Northeast, shared a heartfelt message about his family’s personal journey with breast cancer and underscored the importance of early detection. He thanked the In the Pink of Health committee and its leaders Jamie Bolt and Nicole Preston.
Event co-chairs Jamie Bolt and Nicole Preston took the stage and Nicole Preston thanked their hardworking committee and acknowledged past In the Pink co-chairs. Jamie recognized Pink Diamond Sponsors BMW of The Woodlands, Jessica and Trey Brice, Haag Family Foundation, Waste Connections, and Mary Ann and Marty Young.

Anne Neeson, Executive Vice President and CEO of the Memorial Hermann Foundation, highlighted advances in cancer care, noting that “Memorial Hermann diagnoses more cancers annually than any other health system in Texas.”
The luncheon’s emotional centerpiece came from Taylor Odlozil, who shared his moving story as a caregiver to his late wife, Haley, an ovarian cancer warrior who spoke at In the Pink a decade ago. Their son Weston joined him on stage to a standing ovation.

The program closed with special guests Giuliana and Bill Rancic, who shared their own journey with breast cancer and inspired guests to prioritize early detection and proactive support for loved ones facing cancer.
Funds raised from this year’s event will be distributed in January to provide free mammograms, wigs, and prostheses, fund breakthrough technologies, and continue life-changing programs for patients and survivors across Montgomery County.
